Fully restored in 2007 and driven thoughtfully since, this is a very solid example of the MG TD with the perfect level of patina. This is a numbers-matching example with the original engine and transmission. The car has zero, repeat zero rust. It looks like a show winner from a short distance, but has just enough patina so that you aren't afraid to drive it. Chrome shows very nicely, with only the smallest amount of pitting visible up close on some pieces. The car wears factory-correct green leather upholstery with no rips, tears, or holes. It runs and drives very nicely, and brakes as solid and straight as a T-series can with nice, firm pedal feel. Transmission shifts nicely with a great snick-snick feel between gears. Engine starts instantly, revs and pulls smoothly, and maintains very strong oil pressure. It comes with top, side curtains, and tonneau cover. All of these were replaced new during the 2007 restoration, still look nice and are very serviceable. The top does have a few small worn areas and holes that do not impact function. The tonneau has a few slightly discolored areas but works perfectly. This has been my personal car for the last four years and I have not had the first problem with it. Currently undergoing a full suspension and brake system rebuild, interior freshening, as well as annual tune up and fluid changes.
